Faith, Family & Flight – Why My Values Shape Everything I Build

People ask me all the time how SAFE Structure Designs became what it is today. And honestly, the answer doesn’t start with business strategy. It starts with my relationship with Jesus.

From day one, this company was built on faith. Not as a marketing strategy, not as a catchphrase—but as the foundation. I’ve always believed that what you build reflects who you are. And I want everything I build—platforms, relationships, teams—to reflect Him.

At SAFE, faith isn’t something we keep behind closed doors. It’s something we live out loud. We open meetings with prayer. We celebrate wins by giving thanks. We make decisions by seeking wisdom, not just profit.

There’s a verse in Proverbs that says, “By wisdom a house is built, and through understanding it is established.” That’s what I hold onto. Because wisdom doesn’t come from experience alone. It comes from the Lord.

That wisdom has shaped how we hire, how we lead, how we serve our clients. And more than anything, it’s shaped the culture of this company. A culture that values integrity. That honors family. That sees people not just as workers, but as souls.

When I think about the legacy I want to leave, I don’t want it to be just about platforms. I want it to be about the people we’ve protected, the lives we’ve helped improve, the faith we’ve pointed to in the process.

Because if SAFE is only known for what we build, and not why we build it, then we’ve missed the mark.

This company is my calling. My team is my ministry. My work is my worship.

And every time I see a SAFE platform roll out onto a tarmac, I whisper a prayer: "Lord, use this. Protect them. Be glorified through this work."

That’s why I started SAFE. And that’s why I’ll keep building—with faith, with purpose, and with joy.
